Duke of Suffolk – Formally Accused

Wallingford Castle Model (Wallingford Museum)

The commons made formal accusations, against the Duke of Suffolk, to the Lords. They said that the Duke also planned to assist in an invasion and was to give Charles VII Wallingford Castle, that he was the constable. Both acts being treasonous. Invasion by the French was a real threat since the fall of Harfleur on December 31st.
