No weapons order

Three days after the privy council ordered the banning and breaking up of “unlawful” gatherings, the King sent out orders to the sheriffs of London, Middlesex, Kent, Surrey and Sussex, banning the carrying of weapons. Proclamations were made by the Sheriffs saying those who broke the rule would be arrested and imprisoned.

Things were not improving.
